Using a ‘tide table’ allows prediction of fish movement according to the tide. When the tide changes, water flow shifts rapidly, so it’s advisable to avoid periods with large tidal fluctuations for safe outings.

The Korea Meteorological Administration marine weather information provides real-time data on wind speed, wave height, and sea surface temperature. When wind speed exceeds 15 m/s, large waves develop, making both fishing and car-camping hazardous.

04On-site usage tips

Adjust the ‘rig’ according to water depth. For depths of 5 m or less, use lures weighing 2–4 kg; for depths over 10 m, 5–8 kg lures are recommended. This principle optimizes water resistance and fishing efficiency.

Select ‘car-camping gear’ with waterproof and durable features. Tents should have a water‑pressure rating of at least 3000 mm, and sleeping mats should support loads of 10 kg or more.

‘Food and hydration’ are also important. Drink at least 2 L of water and consume 250 ml per hour, and prepare high‑protein, high‑carbohydrate foods to maintain stamina during long outings.
